Aluminium window and door sun hoods
A sun hood adds depth to a flat facade and brings attention to the opening below. Use a simple projection over a window or a box arrangement around wider glazing. The width, depth and returns are designed to sit comfortably with the building and provide the intended shade.

Construction & installation
The aluminium hood is supported from the building through its mounting assembly. GA’s SH-M examples use a box frame, mounting channel and locking bar. We work out the projection, wall connections and junction details for each opening.
